Today WEEN is a thing of the past. I first heard ween in ninth grade - a year before i moved to their hometown of New Hope, PA. The song was Baby Bitch, a warped acoustic love sick jam - timeless really. I bought Chocolate & Cheese and pretended to “get it”. Really though, it was like this…

i danced to push the little daisies at a club called the foundation in west palm beach when i was 15 or 16. and despite whatever people feel about that song - i was well aware from reading the liner notes of the pod that these guys were kinda from where i had been kinda from. and later when i heard pumpin for the man, i knew we were from the same place. and that is something that doesn’t happen very often when you are from a small place. when people from your small place are as awesome as all get out - you have to notice and take a moment to be proud of them. and i am.
and nobody else wins, we’re gonna miss the playoffs, cole will be like 22-5, win the cy young, and get 25 million in free agency. i weep for the future.
